Welcome! My name is Cassie, otherwise known as Granola Barre Girl. Simply put, I love food and I love feeling my best self, and I believe the two are directly correlated. Health & wellness is about perspective, and I believe everyone has the ability to feel their best self by learning to navigate the grocery aisles, ingredient labels, and their own kitchens —and that’s where I can help!
Granola Barre Girl first started as an outlet to share my passion for nourishing and yummy meals through vibrant photos. Through the simple act of sharing, over time, I frequently found myself helping others shift their approach to food in order to live a health-filled lifestyle. It quickly became apparent that “food guidance” was what I was meant to do in this thing we call life! Along with being Nutritious Life Certified through Nutritious Life Studio, my expertise comes from immersing myself into the wellness world, fervor for nourishing food, as well my own health experiences. A day never goes by where I’m not pushing myself to learn something new in this ever-growing space, particularly food. Nutrition is a budding science, and among the constant research and development, there are also many points of view (and fads) out there. I keep up with the latest studies to bring transparency to my clients and help guide them through their own health journeys.
A little more about me: aside from nutrition, I'm also an advocate for safer skin care and living a non-toxic lifestyle as best I can. Last but not least, I love staying active. Barre (if you couldn’t guess by my name!) is my favorite form of exercise. I also enjoy a good spin and yoga class and long walks. No matter what, I get up and move every single day because it simply makes me feel good, both physically and mentally.
