Another granola recipe by yours truly! It comes as no surprise that I love granola, but the love for my granola not only comes from eating it, but also making it! When you make your own meals, treats, whatever, you have control over the ingredients and also, the opportunity for creativity is endless! It’s fun! At least, it is for me. I love this figgy granola because of the simple, #realfood ingredients and the easy directions… minimal work all in a matter of 30 minutes from prep to bake to consumption! Enjoy :)
1 cup gluten free oats
½ cup slivered almonds
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup raw pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp powered ginger
A shake of nutmeg
A pinch of pink salt
2 Tbsp melted coconut oil
1 tbsp pure maple syrup
2 diced figs
What to Do:
Preheat oven to 325
Mix all dry ingredients, except figs, in a bowl.
Mix wet ingredients in a small, separate bowl.
Drizzle wet mixture over dry ingredients and combine.
Spread granola evenly over a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle figs over granola; bake for another 5 minutes.
